Turning Up the Spotlight: Elevating Speakers on the World’s Stage

Brand Strategy • Messaging • UX • Copywriting • Social Channel Management • Blog & Campaign Strategy

Gravity Speakers is a boutique speakers bureau representing 100+ thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers. Their talent was world-class, but the brand’s voice, digital experience, and campaigns weren’t doing them justice. My goal was to help position Gravity as a trusted, modern bureau—one that speaks with confidence, clarity, and purpose—while driving measurable engagement and bookings.

I refined the brand’s messaging across web, social, email, and blog channels, balancing authority with approachability. On the UX side, I helped improve the speaker directory experience to make browsing, comparing, and booking faster and easier. Through ongoing campaign development, I ensured Gravity’s speakers were consistently in the spotlight—across both digital and live event ecosystems.

What I Delivered

  • Brand voice and messaging framework

  • Website copy and key landing page rewrites

  • UX and content structure recommendations for the speaker directory

  • Social media planning, posting, engagement, and performance analysis

  • Email marketing and newsletter campaigns

  • Blog development, writing, and editorial management

  • Campaign strategy for seasonal, cultural, and DEI-focused events

Featured Speakers

Working with Gravity’s exclusive roster, I helped highlight world-class voices shaping the global conversation:

  • Arlan Hamilton — Venture catalyst, author, and founder of Backstage Capital, investing $30M+ in startups led by women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ founders.

  • Dona Sarkar — Chief Troublemaker at Microsoft and mental health advocate redefining workplace wellness through tech and storytelling.

  • Anthony McLean — Master storyteller and inclusion advocate known for his flagship keynote Culture, Wellness & Inclusion: The Pillars of Workplace Belonging.

  • Liza Pavlakos — International motivational speaker and founder of Mind Hub Directory, inspiring global audiences with her story of resilience.

  • Cheryl Campos, Candice Matthews Brackeen, Ivelyse Andino — Founders and innovators transforming venture capital and equity access.

Each campaign focused on storytelling and human connection—inviting event planners not just to “book a speaker,” but to ignite a conversation that lasts long after the event.

Results & Highlights

  • Evolved the brand voice across website copy, speaker bios, and marketing materials to elevate Gravity’s credibility and warmth.

  • Rewrote homepage and key landing pages, clarifying messaging and improving click-through and inquiry rates.

  • Led social media channel management: planning, content creation, scheduling, engagement, caption writing, and analytics tracking.

  • Produced and edited blogs, newsletters, and long-form editorial to drive repeat site traffic and deepen audience relationships.

  • Built UX recommendations for a more intuitive speaker directory (browse, compare, and favorites features).

  • Planned and executed campaigns showcasing top speakers, resulting in higher visibility and more direct bookings.
